The Do's for Lenses
- Use Microfiber: Polish lenses exclusively using your provided SixtySix microfiber cloth.
- Mild Soap: Use lens wipes or a drop of mild, lotion-free dish soap when deep cleaning oily residues or fingerprints.
The Don'ts for Lenses
- Never Dry Wipe: Dry rubbing dusty lenses can create micro-scratches over anti-reflective coatings.
- No T-Shirts or Paper Towels: Wood fibers in tissues/towels and shirt fabric can cause permanent abrasions.
- No Harsh Solvents: Keep lenses away from acetone, bleach, alcohol wipes, and ammoniated cleaners.
The Do's for Frames
- Two-Hand Handling: Always put on and remove glasses using both hands to preserve symmetrical hinge tension.
- Condition Wood: Natural wood grain benefits from an occasional drop of natural beeswax polish once a year.
The Don'ts for Frames
- Avoid Headband Wearing: Wearing glasses on top of your head can stretch out the temples and misalign the hinges.
- Submerging Wood: Do not submerge wooden frames in water, this can cause the wood to swell.

- Lenses Upward: When resting frames on a surface, always place them with lenses facing upward.
- Room Temperature: Keep at ambient indoor temperature to preserve wood layers and lens coatings.

- No Car Dashboards: Car interiors can exceed 70°C in sunlight, which can risk damage to your wooden frames and lenses.
- No Loose Bags/Pockets: Keys and loose items in pockets or tote bags can easily scratch lenses and frames.
- Never Face Down: Placing frames lens-down can risk scratches on delicate surface coatings.
